The CrossKart in blue livery: a new vision of off-road karting
The CrossKart in blue livery: the first prototype reveals its identity
The CrossKart now wears a blue livery that asserts its visual identity. More than just a decoration, this body reflects the spirit of the project: to offer a new way of practicing karting, by taking it away from the traditional circuits to explore natural terrain.
This presentation also marks the beginning of a new adventure for CrossKart by Lovenie. The objective remains unchanged: to create a machine capable of providing the sensations of a competition kart while offering the crossing capabilities of an off-road vehicle. This concept, unprecedented in its approach, combines the performance of a karting chassis with a specific bodywork and a tyre adapted to soft surfaces.
The blue livery presented today accompanies a prototype intended to continue testing before the complete vehicle and the future CrossKart kit are marketed.
A blue livery inspired by motorsport
The choice of blue is not a coincidence. For several decades, this colour has held a special place in the history of motorsport. It immediately evokes the great hours of French competition as well as certain cars that have become legendary.
This decoration develops its own personality thanks to a mix of light blue, deep black and orange touches that emphasize the lines of the bodywork.
The angular shapes reinforce the dynamic character of the vehicle. The graphic elements naturally extend the volumes of the body while giving an impression of speed, even when stationary.
The number 19, now associated with the project, finds its place on several body elements. It contributes to the visual identity while recalling the world of competition.
The CK logo also appears on the various parts to immediately identify the CrossKart.
A Praga chassis at the heart of the project
This first prototype is based on a recently generation Praga chassis.
This choice allows you to immediately benefit from the qualities recognized by this brand in the world of karting.
The dynamic behavior remains very close to a competition kart.
The steering remains extremely precise.
The centre of gravity remains particularly low.
The rigidity of the chassis promotes excellent steering precision.
At the same time, several adaptations now make it possible to accommodate the off-road wheels as well as the new bodywork.
This approach has a major advantage.
It paves the way for the future CrossKart kit, aimed at karting owners wishing to transform their machine without completely replacing their equipment.
All-terrain tyres for a change of playing field
One of the main developments naturally concerns tyres.
Slick tyres disappear in favour of real studded tyres.
This change profoundly changes the possibilities of use.
The CrossKart can now evolve on:
- the earth;
- stabilized paths;
- grass;
- mixed runways;
- some developed natural land.
These tyres offer more traction while maintaining a sufficiently precise handling to preserve the driving sensation.
They also contribute to the very special look of the vehicle.
The contrast between the go-kart chassis and the wide tyres immediately catches the eye.
A different philosophy of karting
CrossKart does not seek to replace traditional karting.
Homologated circuits naturally remain the preferred field of expression for official competitions.
The project pursues another ambition.
It wants to allow enthusiasts to rediscover the pleasure of driving on specially adapted private land.
This philosophy opens up new perspectives.
The constraints related to asphalt tracks disappear.
The sensations evolve.
Glides become natural.
Changes in grip multiply the challenges.
Every turn becomes different.
Steering requires more anticipation.
This diversity is one of the main advantages of CrossKart.
A vehicle designed for leisure
CrossKart by Lovenie is developing this project with a logic clearly oriented towards leisure.
The vehicle is not intended to participate in official competitions.
It is primarily aimed at enthusiasts wishing to practice an original mechanical activity on private land.
This approach also simplifies vehicle development.
It makes it possible to imagine technical solutions specifically adapted to the needs of users.
Driving pleasure remains the priority.
A future kit offer
One of the major objectives is to offer a CrossKart kit in the near future.
This solution will allow owners of a compatible kart to transform their vehicle.
This approach has several advantages.
It limits the cost of access.
It enhances existing frames.
It also simplifies maintenance.
Enthusiasts will be able to customize their CrossKart according to their desires.
Several liveries will be offered gradually.
The blue version is simply a new version.
The first tests are continuing
The prototype is currently in its development phase.
Each outing allows us to gather new information
This phase remains essential before any commercialization.
Each improvement contributes to making the future product more reliable and more pleasant to use.
Feedback will also guide the project’s future developments.
A visual identity that is set to evolve
The blue livery inaugurates a true brand identity.
However, it is only a first step.
Other decorations will gradually see the light of day.
Some will pay tribute to the great hours of motorsport.
Others will offer completely new creations.
Each CrossKart will thus be able to display a different personality while maintaining the brand’s own graphic codes.
This diversity will fully contribute to the experience offered to future users.
The beginning of a new adventure
This first presentation represents more than just an aesthetic change.
It symbolises several years of reflection devoted to imagining a new practice of karting.
The CrossKart seeks to bring together two worlds rarely associated: the precision of a competition kart and the freedom of driving on natural terrain.
The blue livery thus becomes the first official face of this ambition.
The next few months will now allow for further testing, refining the design of the kit and preparing for the first public demonstrations.
The CrossKart project is now entering a new phase in its history. The first prototypes are now driving with their final identity. They are paving the way for a new way of experiencing karting, freer, more fun and resolutely focused on the exploration of natural terrain.
